As a freelance journalist I have written features for most newspapers and magazines in the UK and Ireland, as well as some in Europe and the US. I have written many articles on travel and business as well as human interest subjects, Irish history, politics and culture, miscarriage of justice cases and food.

I have written a number of features for the Radio Times including cover stories on the space race, Richard Branson's plans for space tourism, the bi-centenary of Lord Nelson's death, the 25th anniversary of Question Time, international terrorism, Brian Keenan and articles linked to documentaries on Scottish trawlermen and on the shared DNA between humans and chimpanzees. All these articles involved extensive research and interviews.
