The Buzz

I edited The Buzz magazine (print version) for over four years. A global publication, The Buzz was published by Axon Publishing for Guinness and circulated to Guinness Irish Pub Concept owners in countries as culturally diverse as Nepal, Japan, Israel, USA, and Portugal. It was designed to associate Guinness with the new energy in Irish culture, by featuring the arts, lifestyle, food, business issues and sporting successes of modern Ireland.

My role was to choose subject material in all these categories, choose and brief the leading Irish journalists in their respective fields and edit copy. I also wrote all the pub-related material myself.

In 2001, I received a Highly Commended Award in the Magazine Editor of The Year category from the Association of Publishing Agencies (APA).
